This is what New Zealand looks like to the experienced traveller.

A world traveller who tries to describe New Zealand is apt to paint an extraordinary picture.
He’ll tell you it has the unspoiled wilderness of Alaska, beaches that rival Hawaii, fjords like Norway, and Alps like Switzerland.
He’ll say New Zealand’s villages will make you think of England, New Zealand’s lush green meadows will remind you of Ireland, and her towering Mt. Egmont will put you in mind of Japan’s Mt. Fuji.
He’ll add that it’s one of the few travel bargains available today. And he’ll be right.

babies

after a discussion re: are babies cute or not, i present you with photographs of myself as a small child, scanned by my dad and emailed through

those dining table chairs were so rad

i broke my arms 3 times under the age of 3

with my brother lee

first day of school on norfolk island

see? i used to be cute. it all went wrong soon after this

my dad kept this on his desk at work, if people asked why i had a basket on my head he would claim it was because i was an unattractive child. most believed him.

quite nice

so my map was wrong and I’ve done an unecessary 3km loop around Brisbane, through the botanic gardens and along the river on my way to the art gallery. but on a bright sunny and warm winter day it’s all still quite nice.

but I don’t think I’ll ever live here.
